Everglades National Park
When you think of the Everglades, aligators natually come to mind. These creatures are at the same time magnificent and fearsome.
Our group came within five or six feet of one aligator sunning himself on the bank of a nearby creek. He was about ten to twelve feet long,
I think. No one pulled a tape to find out for sure. We also found out just how fast he was able to move when he wanted to.
